Warm congratulations to Hangzhou Create for winning the bid for the 40,000-ton/year integrated basic lithium salt project of Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. The project is located in the Chaerhan Lake area of Qinghai. Situated in Golmud City, Qinghai Province, Chaerhan Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in China and one of the most famous inland salt lakes in the world.

Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. is a large provincial state-owned listed enterprise under the supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Qinghai Province. Headquartered in Golmud City, Qinghai Province, the company is currently China's largest potash fertilizer production base, with an annual production capacity of 5 million tons of potash fertilizer, ranking fourth globally. It also has an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of lithium carbonate, making its brine lithium extraction capacity the highest in the country.

Project System

For this project, Create provided specialized equipment and technical services for boron removal and lithium chloride concentration. In the project, Cree employed advanced electrodialysis technology to treat lithium-rich brine. This technology effectively removes boron, yielding a purer lithium chloride solution, while increasing the concentration of lithium ions from the original 5 grams per liter to over 20 grams per liter.

This proprietary technology was independently developed by Hangzhou Create Environmental and Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and has already been implemented in companies such as Zangge Lithium and SDIC Luobupo Potash, receiving consistent praise from users. This collaboration not only promotes the technological advancement of Qinghai Salt Lake Industry but also reinforces Create leadership position in the industry, achieving a win-win outcome.
